The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Monday through the Facebook social network, offered a summary of the Annual Message to the Nation, issued last Sunday from the Supreme Court of Justice.
“In compliance with the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and with the sentence of the Supreme Court of Justice, we presented this Sunday, our Annual Message to the Nation, corresponding to the management of the Bolivarian Government during the year 2016, to inform the entire Venezuelan people on the work we do in the 365 most complex days that the Revolution has gone through, but which have served to forge the spirit and morals of all of us, by overcoming with determination and constancy all the adversities, challenges and sabotages we are facing”, he wrote.
He also detailed that he explained how, despite the difficulties, “We advance towards a new economic concept, through the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, which is based on boosting national production, thus ending the oil rentier model. In addition, we highlight the way how, despite the crisis induced by destabilizing factors, social investment has increased in favor of the people, with a great effort by all sectors to maintain the country’s peace and stability”.
The Head of State in another message pointed out that within the Message given to the nation were made important announcements corresponding to the management of the Bolivarian Government during the year 2016.
“These announcements in economic, social and security matters are designed to provide the people with the highest degree of happiness, satisfaction and care for our people,” he added.
