The appointment of the new board of directors of the National Assembly, on January 5, will be unconstitutional, as said the deputy by the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) to the AN, Ricardo Sanchez, who recalled that the Parliament is still under a State of contempt.
“There cannot be made a change of board, because, unlike what will happen on January 5, 2017, the election of the board of directors of 2016 was made within the constitutional, legal framework. Unfortunately today the decisions that the NA has taken are unconstitutional, due to it being in contempt. ”
Until the judgments of the Electoral Chamber number 260, dated December 30, 2015, and number 1, dated January 11, 2016, have been complied with, and proceed to the formal disincorporation of Julio Haron Ygarza, Nirma Guarulla and Romel Guzamana , Sworn in an unrightful way on January 6, the NA will remain in contempt.
Sánchez also criticized the performance of the Venezuelan Parliament in the current legislative period. “Today the Board of Unity has nothing good or good to show the country for 2017. The MUD and the opposition bench broke the quorum in 37 opportunities,” which equates to 48% of the sessions scheduled for this year .
The balance of the NA in 2016 is totally negative, reiterated the deputy of the GPP to ensure that the current directive of the Legislative Power has been disrespectful to the internal regulations, laws and the Constitution, making this institution “into the most beautiful celebration palace in Caracas”.
Government will remain at the dialogue table:
In response to the most recent message of Pope Francis, spread during Christmas Mass, Sánchez assured that dialogue has always been present in the will of President Nicolás Maduro and the desire of the vast majority of Venezuelans. “Dialogue is an instrument for a goal, the solution of the problems of the people.”
