ECLAC Representatives analyze the effects of the economic war in Venezuela


The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, informed that she met on Tuesday with representatives of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), with whom she shared “important information on the modalities of the economic war waged against the people of Venezuela, and the attack on the currency.”
Speaking to the media, Rodriguez qualified the meeting as fruitful, and stressed that thanks to this, the representatives of ECLAC “have been shocked to learn how sectors of the opposition, in alliance with external sectors, intend to attack the people of Venezuela,  through the induced speculation, shortages and attack on the currency, with the ultimate goal of overthrowing the President Nicolas Maduro. ”
She detailed that during the meeting, was made emphasis on the Bolivarian Economic Agenda and the 14 production engines, both tools implemented by the Government of Nicolas Maduro, to address the economic warfare.
Chancellor Delcy Rodriguez recalled that Venezuela and ECLAC maintain a historical tradition of working in the economic and social fields.
