The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Arsitóbulo Istúriz, stressed this Wednesday that the Great Missions system must be unified throughout the country, in order to act more effectively and provide concrete solutions to the Venezuelan people.
“One of the elements that the President has proposed is for us to work comprehensively as a single Government … that is why we have to work together, join forces and act in the territory,” he said from the Catia Theater in Caracas, where he participated in the presentation of the work agenda of the System of Great Missions for 2017.
He also pointed out that the main objective of the National Executive is to provide social protection to the people, while saying that it is necessary to consolidate Bolivarianism as a strategy to maintain control of the streets.
He also recounted that Social Missions are “one of the most beautiful creations made by Commander Hugo Chavez.”
Likewise, the Vice President stressed the importance of understanding that the Executive has in the social missions, an instrument to get the people to exercise the Government, by promoting their active participation in the creation of solutions and new mechanisms for its development.
