The Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Luis José Marcano, expressed on Wednesday night through his account on the Twitter social network, that “the increase oil prices will contribute to the process of stabilizing the economy”.
Marcano said that with planned work and political clarity, will be overcoming the difficulties and “building the new for the future.”
Regarding this issue, it is important to note that the member countries of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) agreed in Algeria to freeze oil production between 32.5 and 33 million barrels per day (mbd), in order to stabilize prices.
Such extraordinary meeting was held under the framework of the 25th International Energy Forum.
