The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), highlighted the success of the exercise in superior popular, military, and police phase of the Independence 200 Plan, in response to the officially issued order for the structuring of the Commands of Integral Defense.
Through an audiovisual presentation published on his channel on Telegram, the Head of State explained the strategic nature of this deployment: “It is an exercise in superior phase that was necessary to fine-tune real-time mobilization and force deployment capabilities,” stated the national leader.
Likewise, he emphasized the commitment of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces to the integral protection of the national territory. “With Bolívar and Sucre, we always go.”
It is noteworthy that the Independence 200 Plan is based on the principles of integral protection and territorial defense. This plan represents a coordinated effort between the people, the military, and the country’s police forces.
The exercise’s main objective is to strengthen joint response and deployment mechanisms. Furthermore, it seeks to optimize operational coordination among the different components of national defense.
