The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the level of organization achieved by the People’s Power as the most powerful in the nation’s history. Through an audiovisual presentation on his channel on Telegram, the Head of State emphasized the importance of open spaces for production and the exercise of community power.
He noted that here has emerged «a new democracy among the people and ordinary citizens», highlighting the productive motivation of the communities. He also acknowledged the diversity of food products that are generated through this model of popular organization.
He stressed that the fundamental purpose of popular organization is the building of community. This mechanism allows for addressing and resolving problems that arise in local communities, strengthening the Venezuelan social fabric.
Finally, he specified that this form of organization has emerged «with great power among the people and the humble ones». The communal structure represents a significant advance in the development of participatory and protagonistic democracy in the country.
