Venezuela strengthens its sovereignty with strategic Meetings at the UN

Within the framework of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a series of strategic bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Serbia, Marko Đurić, and from Nicaragua, Denis Moncada, with the aim of strengthening the historic friendship and strong cooperation between these nations.

These meetings allowed for the ratification of the principles of defense of Venezuela’s sovereignty and self-determination, as well as deepening ties of collaboration in areas of common interest, in line with the foreign policy of peace and mutual respect promoted by the government of President Nicolás Maduro.

In addition, Chancellor Gil met with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the United Nations, Mirjana Spoljaric, to strengthen joint cooperation between the Venezuelan State and this international organization in the areas of health and humanitarian assistance.

Venezuela reiterates through these diplomatic actions its commitment to international law, peaceful coexistence among peoples, and the construction of a multipolar world based on cooperation and respect for the sovereignty of all nations.
