The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, met with his Vietnamese counterpart, Le Hoai Trung, in a meeting that served to reaffirm the strong bonds of brotherhood and bilateral cooperation that unite both nations. The diplomatic meeting also aimed to strengthen multilateral alliances in international forums.

Through his official channel on Telegram, the Venezuelan minister detailed the fruits of this strategic relationship. Gil highlighted «the solid economic and commercial relationship that Venezuela maintains with Vietnam, with a bilateral trade that reaches approximately $55 million and continues expanding.»

This constantly growing trade volume is presented by the authorities as a reflection of a sovereign and mutually beneficial cooperation. Both governments promote a model of international relations based on dialogue and mutual respect.

The partnership between Caracas and Hanoi is based on a diplomatic history that has 36 years already. During this time, the unwavering principles of a foreign policy marked by peace have been the central pillar of a relationship that has yielded significant concrete results for both peoples.

Cooperation has materialized through the signing of numerous agreements, understanding memorandums, and letters of intent. These legal instruments cover a variety of strategic areas for the development of both countries.

Notably, collaboration focuses on vital sectors such as energy, oil, gas, industry, and agriculture. These agreements reflect the desire of both nations to complement each other’s economies and transfer technical knowledge.

This meeting reinforces the commitment of Venezuela and Vietnam to continue expanding a beneficial bilateral agenda. The relationship, built on decades of respectful dialogue, is consolidated as an example of South-South cooperation aimed at sovereign development and peace.
