The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, asserted that it took only 12 days for the world to realize that Israel, with its threatening attitude toward Iran, was nothing more than another paper tiger.
At the Peace March held in Caracas, he said that «the response of the Islamic Republic of Iran brought the criminals of the Israeli government to their knees (…) The bravado with the war criminals, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, who kept all of humanity in suspense and threatened, has fallen away,» he emphasized.
He emphasized the need to promote President Nicolás Maduro’s proposal to hold a Global Peace Summit: «We are preparing to meet the most powerful actions for peace. From the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, we hope that sooner rather than later, world leaders will gather to reject the threats of imperial power and the Zionist entity.»
Rodríguez maintained that as long as Netanyahu leads a government with a Zionist identity in Israel, the threat and anxiety over all of humanity will continue. «From here, from heroic Caracas, birthplace of the Liberator, we support the Summit for Peace and Against War, convened by President Nicolás Maduro, in the face of the warmongering actions led by the Zionists. From Venezuela, we raise our voices for self-determination and the right of free nations to live in peace. Let us speak, so that the bullets do not speak!» he affirmed.
Finally, the president of the National Assembly demanded the intervention of multilateral organizations: «It is essential for multilateral organizations to serve a purpose, if they truly exist,» he declared, while demanding that «the first thing that must be done is to dismantle the nuclear arsenal of the Zionist entity of Israel, and for the aggression against the peoples of the Middle East to cease, because the only aggressor there exists is called Israel, which bombs Lebanon, Syria, and brutally attacks our brothers in Iran,» he concluded.
