During the event that brought together the people of the entire Carabobo state, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led the inauguration and swearing-in of re-elected Governor Rafael Lacava for the 2025-2029 term:
«Our path must be to deepen the democracy of the People, for the People, and from the People. Our path must be the empowerment of the Communes, the Communal Councils, the Communal Circuits, democracy right there, directly from the grassroots, from the organized People,» emphasized the president.
In his speech, the head of state specified that to achieve this higher stage of Bolivarian democracy, the «less desks, more territory» formula must be applied. Therefore, he told Governor Lacava that the governorship «must be in the territory where the people are.»
He noted that with the resounding victory of May 25th, a new stage begins for the Bolivarian Revolution that must focus on building a prosperous and productive Venezuela.
In this regard, it is important to mention that on May 29, during the official proclamation and appointment ceremony by the National Electoral Council (CNE), Lacava reiterated his commitment to every corner of Carabobo state, to improve the quality of life of all the people of Carabobo day by day, regardless of any political or religious affiliation.
