On a journey marked by hope and the desire for a new beginning, 150 Venezuelans, including 24 women and 126 men, arrived in the country this Wednesday from Honduras.
The group arrived at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in Maiquetía (La Guaira state), aboard the Conviasa Airbus 340-200 “General José Antonio Anzoátegui”, as part of the Bolivarian Government’s efforts through the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan.
This return represents the 27th flight of the program, an initiative born during the Revolution that seeks to guarantee the safe return of citizens who wish to rebuild their future in Venezuela. Upon their arrival, a multidisciplinary team from the national government provided integral medical and social care to ensure that the Venezuelans could reintegrate into national life with the necessary support.
The Venezuelan government’s commitment to the repatriation of citizens has been supported by Captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón, Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security, and Peace, who has been instrumental in managing this program.
To date, more than 5,000 Venezuelans have returned to the country through the Vuelta a la Patria Plan, which reaffirms the government’s efforts to guarantee development opportunities for those who return.
This plan strengthens Venezuela’s commitment to its citizens by providing a dignified alternative for those seeking to restart their lives in their homeland.
