The Vice President of the National Electoral Council, Carlos Quintero, announced this Sunday, May 25, 2025, the governors elected by the people in the 24 states of the country.
The Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB) won in 23 states, including Guayana Esequiba; the opposition won only in Cojedes state, a victory that was acknowledged by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
1. Amazonas: Miguel Rodríguez (76.03%)
2. Anzoátegui: Luis José Marcano (87.3%)
3. Apure: Wilmer Rodríguez (96.19%).
4. Aragua: Johana Sánchez (86.92%).
5. Barinas: Adán Chávez (72.45%).
6. Bolívar: Yulisbeth García (87.85%).
7. Carabobo: Rafael Lacava (87.68%).
8. Cojedes: José Galindez (55.22%).
9. Delta Amacuro: Loa Tamaronis (94.13%).
10. Falcón: Víctor Clark (83.17%).
11. Guárico: Donald Donaire (93.15%).
12. La Guaira: José Alejandro Terán (90.65%).
13. Lara: Luis Reyes Reyes (90.95%).
14. Mérida: Arnaldo Sánchez (80.89%).
15. Miranda: Elio Serrano (83.2%).
16. Monagas: Ernesto Luna (94.55%).
17. Nueva Esparta: Marisel Velázquez (55.33%).
18. Portuguesa: Primitivo Cedeño (93.61%).
19. Sucre: Johana Carrillo (94.4%).
20. Táchira: Freddy Bernal (80%).
21. Trujillo: Gerardo Márquez (91.86%).
22. Yaracuy: Leonardo Intoci (89.83%).
23. Zulia: Luis Caldera (64.65%).
24. Guayana Esequiba: Neil Villamizar (97.4%).
In view of this great victory, the Head of State urged the Governors to remain in the territory, working with the organized People’s Power.
He also expressed his pride that Guayana Esquiba has a Governor, who will receive the full support so that the people of Essequibo may have all the rights they deserve as Venezuelans.
