Head of State calls to strengthen Popular and Police intelligence in any situation

«We are going to strengthen popular and military intelligence, active and permanent. Constant patrols and the ability to react to any situation,» announced the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, with the aim of addressing any destabilization in the country.

During the meeting with authorities from the national government’s security agencies at Miraflores Palace in Caracas, the head of state called on the Venezuelan population to trust in the fusion of police, military, and civilian forces, and in the constitutional capacity to move forward in an independent and sovereign manner in the elections to be held this Sunday:

This is the 32nd election in 26 years. No one can say that, only Venezuela, the besieged one, the attacked one… Next Sunday, May 25th, is set, with all the power of God the Almighty Father, to be a day of peace, stability, participation, and sovereign decision,” he stated.

In this regard, he emphasized that the power lies with ordinary citizens at the ballot box. “The power belongs to you, woman, man, you have the power. You have the power. And you are responsible for ensuring that there is peace in Venezuela. Your vote is the guarantee of peace,” he emphasized.
