Active and permanent popular, military, and police intelligence, constant patrols, and the ability to react to any situation. Long live a free Venezuela, long live the peace of the Homeland!» exclaimed the Venezuelan leader.

He then requested «all the support of the entire people of Venezuela,» because Venezuelan citizens «know the importance of next Sunday’s election.» «It is only in your hands to make the decision; it is in ours to guarantee, with the Republic Plan, that our people will be the only ones to elect» their governors, deputies, and representatives of legislative councils.

He also recalled that during these elections, «it will be the first time in the name of the Liberator Simón Bolívar that Venezuela will elect its Governor of the state of Guayana Esequiba, a sovereign state of Venezuela, and will elect deputies from Guayana Esequiba,» he pointed out.
