In his broadcast of the Maduro Live de Repente (Maduro Suddenly Live) program, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced important progress in bilateral relations between Venezuela and China.
President Maduro shared details about the meetings held in Beijing by Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez with «high-level authorities of the Chinese government.»
The Head of State emphasized that Rodríguez’s visit has allowed for «the fine-tuning of agreements in all areas,» highlighting significant achievements in areas such as the economy, trade, and energy cooperation:
«There is impressive news about the achievements this visit is already achieving in terms of cooperation and trade agreements,» he reported.
He also mentioned that the progress is not limited to the economy, but also encompasses sectors such as tourism, healthcare, and artificial intelligence.
«We are advancing on many issues,» he emphasized, indicating that these meetings are essential to deepening and accelerating the plans established during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in September 2023.
During his remarks, he highlighted the importance of the Venezuela-China relationship, noting that «a strategic partnership of this nature exists with only four countries in the world,» and Venezuela becomes the fifth country, the only one in Latin America and the Caribbean with a «Strategic, Failsafe All-Time Partnership, at all times.»
President Nicolás Maduro reaffirms his commitment to strengthening ties between Venezuela and China, in a context where international cooperation plays a key role in the development and cooperation between the two nations.
