A business meeting of the Telecommunications and New Technologies Motor is led by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, from the La Rinconada sector of the Poliedro de Caracas.
This event coincides with the official launch of the Telecommunications and New Technologies Engine, an event attended by telecommunications operators to consolidate and analyze aspects related to the growth of the sector, one of the fastest-growing sectors within the national economy.
This meeting, which also aims to promote the integration of young talent into the Telecommunications and New Technologies Motor and innovative software developers, reaffirms the commitment to guaranteeing technological sovereignty and more stable services.
Venezuelan Economic Model, a Reference for the World:
Another of the premises of this event is to connect with entrepreneurs who are transforming the national economy and paving the way for economic diversification on a national scale, making the economic model a reference for the world.
According to the president of the 13th Engine «Telecommunications and New Technologies» Show, Minister for Industries Jorge Márquez Monsalve emphasized that this event consolidates the sector and allows Venezuelan innovators and area allies to fully integrate into the telecommunications sector, under the premise of a win-win.

In context, this meeting seeks to highlight local talent, create alliances, and promote the development of innovative applications that strengthen various sectors of the national economy.

The Venezuelan President will be accompanied on this journey by the First Lady of the Republic and deputy of the National Assembly (AN) Cilia Flores; Minister for Public Works and Services Major General Jorge Márquez Monsalve, Vice President for the Public Works and Services Sector, Minister of People’s Power for Electric Power, Director General of the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL), and Head of the Telecommunications and New Technologies Engine.
Also present is the Minister for Public Works Iván Hernández Dala, President of the National Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) and Secretary of the Telecommunications and New Technologies Motor.
The Head of State is scheduled to tour the various exhibition stands, where he will be able to appreciate the technological capabilities of telecommunications companies.
