The sanctions seek to attack those who work for the country, said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
During a broadcast of the Maduro Live program of Sudden, he insisted that the new, poorly named sanctions seek to attack those who have been working for the Nation.
The Head of State referred to the sanctions imposed by imperialism, transforming them into decorations for those who defend the Homeland:
“We call them decorations, they are decorations for patriots, for those who fight,» he said.
“This infamous measure is against a group, as I said yesterday, of eminent professionals, eminent Venezuelans, people of values, decent people, honest, fighters, patriots, who deeply love Venezuela, very brave ones”.
In this line, he stressed: “Precisely they believe that they are punishing you, what they do is simply motivate us more, unite us more. With each sanction, we unite more”.
During his speech, he also commemorated the four months of the great popular victory of July 28, where he stressed the resistance of the Venezuelan people against fascism and extremism:
President Maduro emphasized: “Venezuela will remain free, building maximum happiness, its new democracy”.
The president recalled that despite the challenges and adversities, “Venezuela is alive, victorious and consolidating the victory of July 28”. In this sense, he stressed that the country continues to advance on its path towards development and stability.
