Venezuela begins the Happy Christmas 2024 this October 1st. As decreed by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, last September. It should be noted that the December holidays will continue until January 15th, as said the head of state during the broadcast of the 59th edition of his “Con Maduro+” program.
“It already smells like Christmas. Therefore, this year, in homage and gratitude to you, I am going to decree the advancement of Christmas to October 1st. Christmas begins! For everyone, Christmas has arrived with peace, happiness and security,” he stressed.
«Only in Revolution is it possible to build happiness, sharing, respect for family values and the rescue of national identity, which is rich in customs, food, music, rhythms and everything that represents the identity of the people,» he said.
Likewise, the national leader asked all Venezuelan cultural workers to occupy the spaces that are necessary to make this season the best «Happy Christmas 2024.»
To start this celebration in each state of the country, cultural and recreational activities will be carried out for the people. In Caracas, the lighting of Christmas was carried out by the mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, while in Miranda state, it is expected that in the Petare parish will be held a great concert with renowned national and international artists.
