More than 40 countries recognize President Maduro’s electoral victory

A total of 43 countries in the world have recognized and supported the electoral victory of President Nicolás Maduro on July 28.

According to a note from the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the nations that have welcomed the legitimacy of the elections are: Palestine, Algeria, People’s Republic of China, Russian Federation, Islamic Republic of Iran, Qatar, Cuba, Honduras, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Serbia, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Eritrea, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Syria.

Also added to this list of supporters are Zimbabwe, Namibia, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Djibouti, Libya, Laos, Abkhazia, Myanmar, Madagascar, Gabon, Saudi Arabia, Angola, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Nigeria, the Republic of Congo, and Indonesia.

The information was confirmed in various messages posted on the account on the X social network of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.
