The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, offered statements, after exercising his right to vote at the Andrés Bello high school, in the city of Caracas, during his speech he highlighted the massive participation of the Venezuelan people in the voting centers during the voting simulacra, and highlighted the excellence of the Venezuelan electoral system:
“We are very proud to have this electoral system and these intelligent machines, which are the best in the world,” he said. In addition, he assured that Venezuela has the best electoral system globally.
Likewise, Amoroso emphasized that everything has gone smoothly and that this electoral party will end successfully: “We have seen a large number of people actively participating,” he declared, also highlighting the logistical and technical work deployed to guarantee successful elections on July 28.
In this sense, the National Electoral Council (CNE) reaffirms its commitment to the transparency and sovereignty of the Venezuelan people in this electoral process, and thanked its workers for their dedication to each relevant task so that citizens can freely exercise their will. “There will be elections here on July 28,” he concluded.
