The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, invited people to tune in to the “Con Maduro+” program this Monday, and gave a recognition, through a message broadcast on the @NicolasMaduro account on the X social network, to the State security forces for their deployment during Holy Week:
“We began April renewed in our faith and full of energy to continue working for the Homeland. I thank all the security forces of the Safe Holy Week 2024 device, for such excellent work. See you on “Con Maduro+”, today at 7:00 PM,” said the head of state.
A total of 3,527 road checkpoints on the country’s 18 main roads were activated to guarantee a safe return to seasonal workers who mobilized during this Holy Week. Likewise, the authorities activated 552 road awareness classrooms.
The device will be active until the afternoon of this Monday, April 1, when the largest mobilization of people has culminated, explained the Vice Minister for Prevention, Citizen Security and Peace Quadrants, G/D Endes Palencia. During Holy Week, the people mobilized towards religious and tourist destinations, with the protection of the security forces in the country.
