The president of the Legislative Branch, deputy Jorge Rodríguez (PSUV / Capital District), announced this Monday that the calendar proposal for the 2024 presidential elections will be ready in a period of no more than 72 hours, and will immediately be presented to the National Electoral Council (CNE).
This was expressed by Rodríguez at the beginning of the Great Journey of National Dialogue for the preparation of the calendar, which was held in the Federal Legislative Palace with 29 political parties in the country.
He said that the proposal will be based on what was agreed on this journey, where the different proposals from political parties and other sectors of the country will be collected:
“Today we are here to exchange opinions that will allow us to arrive at a proposal for an electoral calendar,” the parliamentarian emphasized while pointing out that the plan, agreed upon, will serve as a suggestion of the date that will be presented to the Electoral Branch.
