President Nicolas Maduro, informed that this Wednesday will be held in Caracas a special meeting of the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – Trade Treaty of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP ), in order to discuss common strategies for the defense of the region.
“Tomorrow our Chancellor Delcy Rodríguez will be welcoming the Foreign Ministers of all the countries of the regional bloc, in order to define strategies in the defense of our revolutionary process”, explained the Head of State.
The President also reported that during his visit to the island of Cuba, where he participated in the 7th Summit of the Association of Caribbean States (AEC), he had the opportunity to meet with his counterpart Raul Castro and with Commander Fidel Castro.
“We reviewed issues of common interest in bilateral relations. We analyzed key elements to strengthen the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA), and thus analyze strategic alliances in all fields, of the life of our peoples”, said the Head of State.
