The Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruíz, participated in the presentation of the National Plan for the diffusion of the Role of the General Inspectorate of Courts (IGT) by officials of said institution, which is aimed at workers attached to the National Institution of Human Rights (DD. HH.).
Likewise, Ruiz expressed the institutional support of the Ombudsman’s Office to the General Inspectorate of Courts, which is in charge of monitoring and inspecting the duties of judges throughout the national territory; In turn, he stressed that the country is undergoing a Judicial Reform, promoted by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, according to a publication on the @defensoriavnzla account on the Instagram social network.
On her behalf, the Inspector General of Courts of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Gladys Requena, stressed that this initiative seeks to promote the main role of the IGT throughout the country, to guarantee due process and an effective judicial protection.
