The extremist sector of the opposition has been defeated

Miraflores Palace’s Ayacucho Hall was the setting for a press conference with more than 50 national and international media, headed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the delegation that represents him at the dialogue table with the opposition.

The President stressed that with the signing of this agreement between the oppositions, the immediate recovery of more than 3 billion dollars is expected to be allocated to a specific technical plan in electricity, water, health and attention to the communities affected by the rains.

President Nicolás Maduro, ‌stressed that this agreement signed by the Bolivarian government and the unitary platform, was carried out with the coup-plotting and terrorist right-wing:

This political group tried to impose parallel governments, called for a military intervention in Venezuela, supported the coming of a group of mercenaries, tried to assassinate me. This is important to know! They failed, we defeated them. That sector does not exist! We decided to reach out so that they can join democracy, the life of the country.”

During the international press conference, the Venezuelan Head of State pointed out to Borrell: “Your people, those ones you want to impose to subdue our country, represent a 28%. We got them out of terrorism. We defeated them.”

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, explained that this extremist group has sequestered between 1 and 30 billion dollars in bank accounts and assets.
