The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that relations of respect and peace are the foundations for the construction of the new world.
Through his account on the Twitter social network, @NicolasMaduro, the head of state expressed: “The construction of a new world with more solidarity and humanity has its firm foundations in relations of respect and peace with nations. Amidst the diversity of ideas, we must move forward united for the well-being of the peoples”.

The National Government promotes the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, a conception promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez as a fundamental value of the revolution:
“The Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace is based on the demand for respect for our peoples and governments, on respect for the principle of self-determination and, at the same time, on the impulse of the multicentric and multipolar world of which Commander Chávez, historical leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, constantly spoke to us about”.
