The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, greeted the Venezuelan students by recognizing their courage in the revolutionary struggle.
He thus indicated it on his social networks: “Long live the students! Brave youth who fights, lives and dreams with revolutionary passion. Rest assured that from the Government we will continue to guarantee you a transformative education at the highest level”.

Every November 21 Student’s Day is celebrated in the country, in homage to the student struggles of university and high school students during the dictatorship of Marcos Pérez Jiménez. This day is made official through Official Gazette No. 25,818, where is recognized the leading role of youth in a fact of protest against Pérez Jiménez.
Access to education was one of the main goals of the Bolivarian Revolution in our country, being free and compulsory for all.
