The Sectoral Vice President for Social and Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado, reported this Thursday that 11,486 families have been fully assisted through the System of Missions and Great Missions, and the different State, regional, municipal and local institutions.
Similarly, he indicated that there are 31 families in shelters, located in La Victoria, Aragua state, and another 51 families have been relocated while adding the deployment of a special Amor en Accion (Love in Action) plan to the 23 affected communities.
Maldonado added that work is being done on the plan guided by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the 1,255 homes affected in their different categories: mild, moderate, in a situation of risk or total loss in the territorial reordering, as well as the accompaniment to industries and businesses.
In terms of school infrastructure, in the zone there are 21 educational institutions active and 11 continue to undergo restoration work.
Likewise, he indicated that more than 1,134 tons of food have been delivered to the communities through the Local Supply and Production Councils (CLAP), the Sovereign Field Fair, the Protein Plan, the National Nutrition Institute and the Food Houses.
