Presidents Nicolás Maduro and Gustavo Petro will meet this November 1 in Caracas

This Tuesday, November 1, a meeting will be held in the city of Caracas between the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro.

The president of Colombia will travel to the Venezuelan country with part of his work team for a lunch with the head of state of Venezuela.

Likewise, through a statement from the Colombian Presidency on its account on the Twitter social network, @Infopresidencia, it was reported: “This Tuesday, November 1, a meeting will be held between the president @petrogustavo and the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, @NicolasMaduro”.

The topics to be discussed at the meeting will be the bilateral relationship between both countries, the reopening of borders and the re-entry of Venezuela to the Inter-American Human Rights System.

In addition, the presidents of both nations seek to boost the region’s economy and socialize their agenda to favor the interests of the Latin American bloc and the protection of the Amazon, as part of the preliminary meetings of the 27th United Nations Conference on Climate Change – 2022.
