Russia highly appreciates the alliance relations established with Venezuela, affirmed the Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Alexandr Fomín, after his negotiations with the Venezuelan Deputy Minister of Education for Defense, Ricardo Nicodemo Ramos, as reported the Russian military entity:
“In these difficult times, we greatly appreciate the truly allied relations between our countries”, declared Fomín, as part of the Army 2022 International Military Technical Forum, inaugurated outside Moscow.
In addition, he thanked the participation of the Venezuelan delegation in the forum and in the International Military Games.
The Venezuelan Vice Minister of Defense thanked the Russian side for the invitation and confirmed that relations between Caracas and Moscow are strengthening.
He praised the opportunity to deepen ties with Russia, both in the military-technical sphere, and in the educational field, as reports the Sputnik news agency.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, during the negotiations, the two deputy ministers addressed the issues of Russian-Venezuelan military cooperation, in particular in the sphere of military education.
