The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting with the Qatar Business Association, in Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar, with the aim of continuing to strengthen trade relations and the establishment of investments in both nations.
Qatar and Venezuela seek to consolidate and strengthen the ties of cooperation, friendship and coordination in all fields, especially in trade, economics and investment in the oil and gas sector and cooperation in the agriculture, culture, education, tourism and air services sectors.
Relations between the State of Qatar and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela are characterized by common positions, consensus in visions on international issues regarding the requirement for peace, stability in the world and coordination in international forums. The desire of the leaders of both countries is to improve and develop bilateral relations and bring them to advanced levels in new fields.
