COVID: Venezuela registers 31 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 31 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which two cases are imported from the Dominican Republic and Turkey, bringing the confirmed cumulative total to 523,444 cases.

The community cases registered today correspond to the states Zulia (15), Caracas (5), Bolívar (3), Miranda (3), Anzoátegui (1), Carabobo (1), Mérida (1), Nueva Esparta (1) and Yaracuy (1).

This was announced this Wednesday by the Sectoral Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñañez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network @luchaalmada15

On day 801 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers the figure of 5,718 as the total number of deaths with one deceased today. The number of recovered patients is 516,644 and there are 1,182 current active cases.
