Geneva Agreement is a mechanism for the defense of the Essequibo

The president of the Special Commission for the Defense of the Guayana Esequiba Territory and Territorial Sovereignty of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Hermann Escarrá, stated that the Geneva Agreement is the practical mechanism to reach a solution in defense of the Essequibo territory.

This was indicated after the State Doctrine in Containment in Defense of Guayana Esequiba discussion, held this Wednesday at the Bolivarian Army Infantry School, with the presence of the officers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

Escarrá stressed that the application of the Geneva Agreement is “a practical, concrete, constructive way to achieve a solution in an issue in which Venezuela has a lot of priority and primacy because it is its territory.”
