Presented proposal for partial reform of Non-Metallic Mining Law of Bolívar state

The Government of Bolívar state introduced before the Legislative Council of this entity (CLEB), a proposal to reform the State Law of Non-Metallic Mining and to adapt it to the latest changes made in the Venezuelan legislation by the National Assembly (AN).

This was reported by the president of the CLEB Mining Commission, deputy Wilfredo Villalba, who explained that the reform proposal includes several modifications that will make the process of assigning concessions for the exploitation of non-metallic minerals more expeditious, efficient and organized.

He recalled that these minerals are used intensively for the construction of houses and infrastructures, as well as for the elaboration of parts and decorative pieces for houses and buildings, many of which are highly attractive for export, as reported AVN.

Villalba indicated that the proposal was presented by the president of the Minas Bolívar (Bolivar Mining) Autonomous Institute (IAMIB), Dony González, on behalf of Governor Ángel Marcano.
