The Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – Peoples’ Trade Treaty, Sacha Llorenti, praised the work of the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua for the benefit of the people.
Through his account on the Twitter platform @SachaLlorenti, the spokesperson for the regional alliance presented some figures that account for the reduction of poverty and extreme poverty:
¨The Nicaragua of which so many do not talk about: Poverty reduction from 48% to 24%, Extreme poverty from 17% to 7%¨.
Likewise, Sacha Llorenti presented statistics on self-sufficiency, electricity coverage, the reduction of infant maternal mortality and electricity coverage in Nicaragua:
“5th place in the world in gender equality. • 98% electricity coverage. • 92% self-sufficiency. • 70% and 60% reduction in maternal and infant mortality”, revealed the Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – Peoples’ Trade Treaty, Sacha Llorenti.
