COVID: Venezuela registers 1,458 new cases in the last 24 hours

1,458 new infections by Covid-19, all community transmission cases, were registered in Venezuela in the last 24 hours. Miranda is the entity with the highest number of cases, with 465 active cases in 18 of its 21 municipalities, followed by Caracas with 242, Barinas with 173, Cojedes with 115 and Aragua state with 89 cases.

15 Venezuelans died of Coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 4,427 deceases to date.

561 days after confirming the first case of Covid-19 in Venezuela, 364,758 is the total number of infections, with 347,693 recovered patients and 12,638 current active cases.

Vaccination has been accelerated in the country under instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, which is why a call is made to those over 60 years of age and to those people who received the first dose before June 30 to go to the vaccination centers without needing a prior appointment, just bringing the vaccination card, and thus complete the immunization process.
