In this new political cycle that is opening, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, congratulates the President-elect of the Republic of Peru, Pedro Castillo Terrones, and his Peru Libre Party, wishing them much wisdom in assuming the leadership of the destinies of that sisterly and beloved nation.

In such significant times of commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence processes of both countries, the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela expresses its firm will to work hand in hand with the new Government of Peru, in order to develop a bilateral relationship of integral cooperation, thus honoring the memory and the immortal example of the Liberator Father Simón Bolívar, the Great Marshal of Ayacucho, Antonio José de Sucre, and that heroic generation of brave men, whose souls and swords were then a guarantee of freedom and a shining example to be followed in the present and future of the free and sovereign peoples of Our Latin America and the Caribbean”.
