1,317 new infections of Covid-19, all community transmissions, were reported in Venezuela this Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Yaracuy state presented 253 cases in 13 of its 14 municipalities, followed by Zulia with 237 cases, and Nueva Esparta state with 108. Unfortunately 16 Venezuelans died in the last 24 hours.
On the second day of flexibilization, under the 7 + 7 method, the total number of cases is 226,136, with 209,495 people recovered, 24,097 active cases, 13,548 patients are receiving care within the public health system, and 549 in the private system.
To date 8,897 patients have no symptoms of Coronavirus, 3,960 have mild respiratory failure, 923 moderate and 317 are confined in intensive care units.
It is important to maintain biosecurity measures to cut the chains of contagion.
