COVID: Venezuela registers 464 new infections in the last 24 hours

This Thursday the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that in the course of the last 24 hours, Venezuela registered a total of 464 new infections, of which 456 are by community transmission, and 8 cases are imported.

According to the Covid-19 balance, published by the Vice President through her account on the Twitter social network, the entity with the highest number of new cases is Carabobo state, with 148, followed by Táchira with 81 cases.

Likewise, it was reported that unfortunately 6 Venezuelans died from the virus: 2 men aged 48 years in Miranda state, 2 men aged 53 and 64 years in Mérida, and 2 men aged 70 and 67 years in Apure state.

She also added that, up to date, in Venezuela there are 85,469 cases of Covid-19, of which 7,060 are active, 77,689 recovered (91%), 4,655 are in Hospitals, 2,260 in CDI, 145 in Private Clinics and with the regrettable figure of 720 deceased.

Finally, she added that the National Executive works tirelessly to guarantee social protection to our people and stop the spread of infections in the national territory, providing free medical care and treatment to each of the detected cases.
