Maduro denounced meeting between Almagro and Kelly to conspire against Venezuela

The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, denounced that on Wednesday was held a meeting for a lapse of three hours at the headquarters of the United States Department of State, which was attended by senior officials of that country, the President of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, and the head of the Southern Command, General John Kelly, whose purpose was the conspiracy against Venezuela.
“I know what they did talked about, they have an obsession with Venezuela and, Do you know why? Because they have not been able to defeat the Bolivarian Revolution -he said- They will not be able to defeat the great history of this land that gave birth to the liberators of America, they will not be able to defeat this people full of passion, love and reasons to fight for”.
Maduro recalled that Venezuela is permanently being threatened, and detailed recent events that thus confirm this, such as the ratification of the decree issued by US President Barack Obama, which places Venezuela as a threat to the United States; the statements of the former Colombian president, Alvaro Uribe Velez, in which he urged foreign military forces to intervene in Venezuela, as well as the claims of the right wing to fill the country with violence.
He accused the oligarchy of “hiding the products to the people in a criminal manner”, a reason why the National Assembly wants to “tie the hands” to the Executive Power and not let it make decisions to benefit the people, such as: mission cards, increases in pension wages and salaries, and the activation of productive engines.
The statements were offered by the President during a ceremony with producers of the fisheries sector held in the town of Guanta, in Anzoategui state, as part of the actions that advances the Bolivarian Government in the Bolivarian Economic Agenda.
