The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced this Wednesday that the terrorist attack, to be perpetrated by Colombia and the United States (USA), against Venezuela; was scheduled to run from March 23 to 25.
In a telephone contact with the “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer) program, he indicated that they would take advantage of the national, social and collective quarantine decreed by the National Executive to stop the expansion of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
In this sense, he warned that this plan was going to be carried out on March 10, during the call for mobilization made by the deputy of the National Assembly in contempt, Juan Guaidó.
«They tried to do this on March 10, but realized that they had no operational capacity. They found out and aborted on March 10. They realized that the coup plotter’s (Guaidó) demonstration was a failure. They aborted March 10 and set a new date for March 23-24 and 25. We entered into national quarantine and from the US, Guaidó and (Iván) Duque (President of Colombia) decided to launch violence operations on these dates. They decided to hit Venezuela with everything”, denounced the Venezuelan head of state.
In this regard, he indicated that the plan was to attack military units, place explosive devices in strategic places in the capital and other cities in the country, in order to generate chaos and anxiety.
