President Maduro ratified the commitment acquired with the Venezuelan people

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified this Friday the commitment acquired with the Venezuelan people, by swearing for the second time to office, on January 10, 2019, after his re-election as Head of State on May 20, 2018, with 67.7% of the votes.

«A year ago, by mandate of our people, I swore as president for the new constitutional period. Since then, we have faced tough battles that we won thanks to the union that today consolidates itself as a spearhead for the great changes the Homeland needs”, wrote the National President on the Twitter social network.

On January 10, 2019, the President was sworn in by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) for the 2019-2025 constitutional period, during which he continues driving the necessary changes to face the constant sieges by the United States against Venezuela .
