Venezuela expresses its condolences to the people of Cameroon after collapse that left 42 dead

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on Wednesday expressed its condolences to the people of Cameroon, after the collapse registered on Tuesday in the Guatchié-Bafusam area, which left approximately 42 dead:
“Our deep condolences to the People and Government of Cameroon after the collapse in Guatchié-Bafusam, which caused injuries and the unfortunate loss of lives. We express our regret to the families of the deceased and await the speedy recovery of those affected”, wrote the minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, in his Twitter account.
According to international media, 13 houses are completely submerged by the moving earth, so all emergency equipment is deployed to address the situation.
Similarly, it was ordered the evacuation of the area in which the disaster occurred.
This phenomenon – caused by heavy rains in the African country – is very common in the country. According to local media, in the last months there have been 10 deaths due to displacements of dirt and mud.
