The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, granted the Order Francisco de Miranda and the Victorious Saber of Carabobo and of Loyalty, to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Rogelio Polanco, thus reinforcing the brotherhood ties of these peoples.
From Miraflores Palace, the Head of State gave the Ambassador an acknowledgement of his performance and as a symbol of brotherhood to consolidate Latin American integration.
Earlier, the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, was welcomed by the president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, where bilateral support commitments were reaffirmed and established strategies against the unilateral aggressions of the United States government.
