Venezuela is prepared to assume reactivation of the Oslo dialogue mechanism

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said this Thursday that the National Government is prepared to attend talks with the Venezuelan opposition in Barbados, through the Oslo dialogue mechanism:
“If the Oslo dialogue initiative is reactivated, we are prepared to take it immediately. All doors are open for political dialogue», said the head of state in a joint radio and television broadcast from the Maiquetía International Airport, in La Guaira, after his official visit to Russia.
He reiterated that he has made more than 600 calls for dialogue and a first agreement was reached with an opposition sector with the help of Norway, however, the United States government ordered that they not continue at that table.
The conversations between the National Government and sectors of the opposition started last May in Norway and then moved to Barbados, however, they were suspended after the unilateral and coercive measures imposed by the United States (USA) to Venezuela, through an Executive decree signed by Donald Trump, in which he orders to freeze the goods and assets of the South American nation in the country.
