President Maduro travels to Russia to strengthen bilateral relations


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, departed on Monday afternoon for the Russian Federation in order to hold an official meeting with his counterpart, Vladimir Putin, and to review the cooperation agreements that both countries maintain:
“I am departing to Russia to continue strengthening international relations with the new world, the multi-plural, multi-center world. Venezuela has a clear direction established in the Constitution, in the Homeland Plan 2020-2025, the construction of a new, multi-centric and democratic world”, he said during the supervision of the balance of the beginning of the school year from Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.
He pointed out he will meet with President Putin’s work teams and with Russian businessmen. He detailed that the goal will be to dinamize the different fields of cooperation with Russia, specifically in economic and social terms.
