Venezuela strengthens ties for the stability of oil market


The Minister of People’s Power for Petroleum, Manuel Quevedo, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opep), Mohammad Barkindo, within the framework of the 24th World Energy Congress, held in the United Arab Emirates.
The information was released through his official Twitter account @MQuevedoF: ”We warmly and cordially welcome the new Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, SE. Abdulaziz Bin Salman. Likewise to the holder of the oil portfolio of Nigeria, Timipre Sylva. Together in OPEC and OPEC + we will work to maintain the stability of the hydrocarbons market”.
Quevedo explained that he also spoke with the oil ministers of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Nigeria, Abdulaziz Bin Salman, Suhail Al Mazrouei and Timipre Sylva respectively:

The Minister is in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, to participate in the 24th World Energy Congress, and meet with the oil leaders of the OPEC nations with the aim of devising strategies to contribute to the stability of the international oil market.
