Maduro called on Venezuelan and Colombian military to confront the US attacks together

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, urged on Thursday the union between the military forces of Venezuela and Colombia, to face the constant aggressions of the imperial axes, which aim to end the independence achieved by the Liberator Simón Bolivar:
“Together Colombians and Venezuelans, we have to seek our common destiny of independence, justice, solidarity, of peace. Together Colombia and Venezuela we have to return to the path of Bolívar. Together, people and military forces”, said the head of state in a joint radio and television broadcast, from the National Pantheon, during an event commemorating the Bicentennial of the Battle of the Vargas Swamp.
Similarly, he urged the military bodies to “retake the original idea” of the heroes of Independence and carry it out for the defense of the independence and sovereignty of both nations.
“Let’s get united, you military men of Colombia who listen to me. Let us join together in a single military force, the whole spirit of the great homeland to unite our people in peace, to reject the gringo military bases in Colombia and to reject military aggression against Venezuela”, added the National President.
