Venezuela installed 1st Intergovernmental Joint Commission with Equatorial Guinea


On Tuesday, the First Joint Cooperation Commission between Venezuela and Equatorial Guinea was held in Caracas, in order to expand the bilateral agenda and brotherhood ties.
During this meeting, both nations explored agreements on educational, cultural, mining, hydrocarbons, telecommunications, air transport and immigration matters.
The Venezuelan delegation was comprised by the Vice Ministers for Africa and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Yuri Pimentel and Ramón Gordils, respectively; the Deputy Minister for Exploration and Ecomineral Investment of the Ministry of People’s Power of Ecological Mining Development, Franklin Ramírez; and the vice minister for Education and University Management of the Ministry of People’s Power for University Education, Andrés Eloy Ruíz.
By Equatorial Guinea, the Delegate Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Bonifacio Mitogo, and the Ambassador of that country in Venezuela, Carmelo Micha Nguema, participated.
Mitogo, who met on Monday with Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza, traveled to Caracas to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of the Coordination Bureau of the Non-Aligned Countries Movement (NAM), which was held in the Venezuelan capital on July 20 and 21.
